REVIEW BASED ON UBER EATS ORDER:
I haven't actually been to this restaurant so only reviewing this restaurant based on the food. I have become quite a regular when it comes to ordering food here.
I generally order their phad Thai, chicken fried rice, red curry chicken, spring rolls, and fresh cold spring rolls with shrimp which are great. Not the best in the city but generous sizes and great value for home delivery.
Their oodles of noodles is not worth ordering and their curry phad Thai is a bit on the heavy side so tend to avoid it.
Will need to actually go to the restaurant the next time I'm in the area, but will keep ordering online. -

We ordered Basil Seafood, stir fried Veg and Pad Thai.
The food was ok, but the service from management when we received an item not as described (that included an item that I have an autoimmune reaction to) was so poor and uncompassionate, that that's the impression I'm left with -- not friendly at all.
The food delivery service menu stated Basil Seafood had: shrimp, scallops and squid. When I got it, it was 80% imitation crab and not one scallop. Imitation crab is mostly gluten, any I have anti-gliadin antibodies which means it causes an autoimmune reaction for me.
I called the restaurant to figure it out and felt accused after everything I mentioned. "WE DO NOT HAVE SCALLOPS IN THE BUILDING" ok, but they're on your menu so we have a problem here. The manager didn't want to figure out what went wrong, let alone apologize; it felt like she was getting angry with me and told me to call the delivery service to figure it out.
The veggie dish was bland with no onion and tons of cheap, white mushroom and baby corn. Pad Thai was too sweet, not enough tamarind and needed some beansprouts, cilantro and more green onion to add crunch and flavour. Basil Seafood that lists shrimp and scallop should have scallop and more than 3 shrimps. It was all imitation crab with a few squid rings, which is really cheap.
The pretty serious error, coupled with mediocre food, I could forgive, but the customer service was horrible. You don't make your customers ill by errors you made listing your menu and then blame them, deflecting any responsibility. Shameful. Learn how to apologize when you make an error. -

This is just ok. It's my second attempt. Take out containers are about half full. Nothing is overly tastey. Sure you get 10% off for cash payment. . . But it's not worth it overall.

Only gets a 4 Star because the food was pretty good and fulfilling. As far as service goes it is a bit confusing and lax. Took a while for us to get our drink orders in. For the amount of people in the restaurant it took quite a while to receive the meal. Great Thai food though in this neighborhood.

We've always enjoy Friendly Thai. The Beef Oodles of Noodles is delicious and we get the Pattaya Chicken, so tasty! Always fast service and friendly staff. Highly recommend!
